The list below describes configurations for permission groups to guide you when creating groups for your employees.
Note: It is recommended that permission groups be created early in the set up process. Employees will not be able to access Staff & Performance Development unless they have been added to a permission group.

Access the Administration section from Staff & Performance Development menu.
Permission Group Configurations
Permissions display in a nested tree format and are organized according to Staff & Performance Development sections: Data Collection, Experience, Forms, Reports, Employees and Administration.
- A user is an employee assigned to the permission group OR employees assigned to a position that is assigned to the permission group.
- The System grants a user the greatest level of access if conflicts exist with permission group assignments (i.e. employee assigned to multiple groups with different permissions).
Data Collection Tasks - Allow data to be collected on employees within the organization
- Data Collection Tasks > Global
- If selected, the user can collect data on all employees across the organization
- Data Collection Tasks > All team members
- If selected, users can collect data on all employees within their team
- Can be partially selected if any of the nested options are selected
- Data Collection Tasks > All team members > Direct Reports
- If selected, users can collect data on all Direct Reports within their team
- Data Collection Tasks > All team members > Indirect Reports
- If selected, users can collect data on all Indirect Reports within their team
- Data Collection Tasks > All team members > Supervisees
- If selected, users can collect data on all Supervisees within their team

Experience Section - Allow the use of the Experience Tracker to log and monitor requirements towards BACB certifications

- If selected, users have access to the My Tracker area of the portal to log their hours and requirements toward BACB certification requirements
- Experience > My Supervisees
- If selected, users have access to the My Supervisees area of the portal to monitor their supervisees' progress toward completion of BACB certification requirements
Forms Section - Allow viewing and editing of forms and measurements
- Forms > All Forms and Measurements
- If selected, users have access to all Forms and Measurements areas
- Can be partially selected if any of the nested options are selected
- Forms > All Forms and Measurements > My Forms and Measurements
- If selected, users have access to the My Forms and Measurements area of the portal to create forms and measurements and share them with other employees
- Forms > Shared Forms and Measurements
- If selected, users have access to the Shared Forms and Measurements area of the portal to access forms and measurements that are shared with them from other employees
Employees Section - Allow viewing and editing of employee information within the organization
- Employees > Global
- If selected, users have access to all employees across the organization
- Employees > All team members
- If selected, users have access to all employees within their team
- Can be partially selected if any of the nested options are selected

- If selected, users have access to employee information on all Direct Reports within their team

Administration Section - Allow viewing and editing of the organization's administrative information
Note: Catalyst administrators automatically have access to the Subscriptions tab in Staff & Performance Development

- If selected, users have access to all administration areas in Staff & Performance Development and allows access to all organization information
- Can be partially selected if any of the nested options are selected

Permission Group Examples
The following permission group examples are suggested based on employee roles and positions.
- Lead administrators can be added to the Administrators permission group. This group is built into the system and provides unrestricted access to all sections.
- The Global setting allows users to access information for all employees in the organization. It displays in the Data Collection, Employees and Reports permission group sections.

Administrators may want to restrict permissions For RBTs who are not in a lead position. It is suggested to select the following settings for these employees:
